Have you ever bled your radiators and dirty black water has appeared? This dirty black water should not be there, it is a by-product of a reaction which is taking place within your central heating system.

This black sludge is known as iron oxide or magnetite. This can cause corrosion and blockages within your boiler and system causing unnecessary breakdowns, cold spots on radiators and inefficient heating systems.

There are a number of ways we can tackle this problem. At IJS Trade Services, we use a system called Magnacleanse developed by the company Adey. This process removes almost all sludge from your system and boiler with the use of chemicals and vibration.
